The following guidelines apply to all sponsorships and underwriting arrangements, whether the sponsor provides monetary or in-kind support.
In this document the terms “sponsorship” and “underwriting” are used interchangeably. Underwriting differs only in that it refers to a major sponsor who provides all or a major portion of the funds needed for a project or activity. The terms sponsor and sponsorship hereafter refer to both.
Sponsorships are not donations; they are an effective marketing and communication tool used to sell more products or services and to reach particular target audiences. Sponsorship also promotes a positive awareness of the organization with customers, potential customers and the community.
The Foundation For Caregivers is a registered 501 (c) 3 engaged in funding research and charitable organizations undertaking activities designed to ease the physical, financial, and emotional burden that informal caregiving places on individual caregivers and their families. The Foundation For Caregivers receives no funding from government sources, all funds must therefore be generated through donations, sponsorships or revenues produced from projects such as Weigh To Give.
The Foundation For Caregivers places equally weight on the benefits to our constituents and our sponsors. Obviously the Foundation requires funds to fulfill its mission, but we are looking for more than a check. We seek relationships that help the Foundation fulfill its mission and our sponsors to achieve their business objectives, while simultaneously improving the outcome of the work we do with our constituents.
We favor long term relationships because we believe that the best results will be achieved through an enduring partnership with our sponsors.
The Foundation will give equal consideration to monetary, in-kind, and mixed sponsorships.
The Foundation encourages healthy activities and habits that decrease accidents or delay the onset of debilitating illnesses that increase the demand for informal caregivers.
Depending on the level of sponsorship, benefits can include, but are not limited to:
Proposals will be assessed on a case-by-case basis with final decision to be made at the discretion of The Foundation For Caregivers Board of Directors. Initial assessment and responses will be completed within 2 (two) weeks of receipt of proposal.
Sponsorship proposals must clearly define monetary and/or in-kind services to be provided.
Use the Contact email to submit your proposal.
