Board of Directors

The Foundation For Caregivers has established an initial Board of Directors to oversee the development of the programs and funding needed to execute the Foundation's vision.

The Foundation is seeking qualified individuals who are passionate about our cause and wish to serve on the Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the team that builds the Foundation For Caregivers into the preeminent international caregiver charity.

Dr. Alton Frye Presidential Senior Fellow Emeritus Council on Foreign Relations Dr. Alton Frye is a presidential senior fellow and founder of the Congress and Foreign Policy program at the Council on Foreign Relations, where he previously served as senior vice president and national director. He has also served as the Council's president and as a senior fellow for national security, and established its Washington program. A former staff member at RAND, he directed a U.S. Senate staff and taught at several universities including Harvard and UCLA. An advisor to leaders in both the legislative and executive branches, Dr. Frye has written extensively on foreign policy and national security issues. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Dr. Frye received his B.S. Summa Cum Laude from St. Louis University and his Ph.D. from Yale University, where he has also served as a Stimson Senior Fellow.

Tim J. Griswold Executive Director & Founder Tim Griswold has been a high tech entrepreneur working in international settings for a number of years. He has successfully launched both start-up companies and developed major corporate projects across a number of industries. He holds a B.A. from Charter Oak College and an MBA from Regis University.  Having experienced firsthand the challenges, frustrations, and needs facing caregivers, he came to understand the desperate need to support individuals providing critical and often life sustaining care and support for family members and friends.

Mary Madsen Mary Madsen is a healthcare professional, a consultant, educator, entrepreneur and co-owner of Pounds for Dollars, LLC. She has worked extensively with outpatient service providers throughout the US as a Medicare regulatory and reimbursement specialist and she is a published author. She holds a BA in biology from Southern Illinois University.
